DRIVING:
Pax Capacity: 4 adults.
Seatbelts: 2 in driver’s cabin, and 2 in main cab.
Baby/Booster Seat Fitting: 2 seats can be fitted on rear seats facing forward. Baby/Booster Seats have to be pre-booked, otherwise cannot be guaranteed. Please advise age and weight of child on booking.
Radio/Cassette: AM/FM radio and cassette.
Cigarette Lighter: 12V.
Fuel: Diesel, 112 litre tank.
Fuel Consumption: Approximately 15 litres per 100 km. This may vary subject to the use of air-conditioning, temperature and terrain.
ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS:
Engine Specifications: 3.0 litre, turbo diesel.
Transmission: 5 speed manual.
Power Equipment: Power steering, power assisted brakes.
Tyres: Tyre pressure should be checked regularly. The recommended pressure is 45psi for both front and rear.
Spare Tyre: The spare tyre is located under the rear of the vehicle.

Sleeping Configuration: 2 Doubles (Tents) both 2.4m x 1.4m.
Fridge Freezer: Operates on 12V battery only – 40 litre.
Gas Cooker: A portable 2-burner gas cooker that is ignited by a match. Cooking must be done outside the vehicle.
Gas Bottle: A 4.5kg bottle is supplied full on vehicle collection.
Microwave: N/a.
Bathroom Facilities: Solar hand held outdoor shower is supplied.
Toilet: N/a.
Water Heater: N/a.
Fresh Water Tank: Capacity is 70 litres and a filler hose is supplied. It is recommended to fill this tank daily.
Grey Water Tank: N/a.
Lighting: Interior lights operate on 12V battery only.
Air-conditioning/Heating: This vehicle has air-conditioning and heating in the driver’s cabin only which operates when the engine is running.
Power Supply: 12V battery / 240V mains power. The vehicle is supplied with a 15m mains power cable for use at the campgrounds. The vehicle also has one 12V battery for the domestic system and a separate battery for the engine.
Storage: A double drawer storage unit is located at the back of the canopy, along with a side storage bin. Extra storage space is located inside the canopy next to the camping chair storage frame.
Fly Screens: Fitted on all tent ‘windows’.

INSURANCE:
All vehicles are insured for the damage to the vehicle or to the property of a Third Party. The hirer is responsible for the first AU$5,000 for Motorhomes ('the standard excess') of the cost of the damage to the third party property or rented vehicle. The excess can be reduced by the purchase of Excess Reduction Options.

• In Australia, children under the age of 3 years must travel in a child restraint.
• The baby seats are mostly universal whereby they are for infants to toddlers depending on their weight and size.
• The seat is placed on the rear seat facing forward.
• Booster seats, depending on the child’s size, are commonly used for the 3 - 8 year age bracket and are fitted with a standard seatbelt.
• Only available with the Explorer, Frontier, Adventure and Rental Cars.

The kit contains:
• Emergency Position Indication Radio Beacon (EPIRB) – when activated the beacon transmits an emergency distress signal, which can be detected by Australian rescue authorities.
• Snatch Strap – used to pull a vehicle from a bogged position (with the aid of another vehicle) in conjunction with the
D-Shackles, which secure the snatch strap to a rigid anchor point.
• Outback Folding Spade.
